Alderman Knight School has an excellent reputation (recognised as ‘Outstanding in our most recent Ofsted inspection in April 2014), with a highly skilled and dedicated staff team who work together to ensure all children experience an exciting curriculum, tailored to meet their individual needs. As a result, there is a safe, caring and supportive ethos across the school that enables the children to be happy at school and achieve well in their learning.
The school has recently undergone a significant building project which has enhanced the learning environment for our pupils, allowing them to access state-of-the-art facilities across the school, from specialist classrooms to outdoor play equipment.
We have worked hard to ensure that this website will help you find out more about our school. However, it can only give you an impression of the school and cannot show you what it is like being here. Therefore, if you would like to find out more please come and visit us.
The telephone number of the school office is 01684 295639. Please feel free to ring at any time and we will be very happy to arrange for you to have a tour of the school and to ask any questions that you may have.
As a parent of a pupil here, Parent View can also give you the chance to tell us what you think about our school.

As I am sure you are aware the Department for Education is due to publish a new Special Educational Needs Code of Practice for implementation in September 2014.
Obviously this is hugely important to all of us and I am really pleased to be able to provide you with a link through to the Gloucestershire County Council website where you will find some really useful information.
We look forward to hearing from you,
