In Year 9 we start the ‘preparation for adulthood’ phase to help our pupils increase their independence, start to understand the world of work and preparation for transition to their next setting.

The school works in partnership with a range of local colleges and training providers to ensure we can provide information about all relevant options and find the best option for our Year 11 leavers.

The school employs a qualified Careers Adviser to meet individually with pupils from Year 9 onwards to meet with pupils, write a ‘Transition Plan’ and give advice and support to pupils and their parents.
